Well a good cost effective alterative is the Donington Historic Festival - http://www.doningtonhistoric.com/

It's April 30th this year I think and it really is an epic day out. Totally recommend it to anyone. Great track, great cars and great racing

That looks great like Goodwood which I hear is not easy event to get in invites only I think ?
