The TCR International Series returns at the picturesque Salzburgring in Austria this weekend, with full Livestream coverage of all the qualifying and racing action!
23 drivers will line up on the grid in Austria as the TCR International Series makes its third visit to this historic motorsport venue. With the fight at the head of the championship standings continuing to prove to be a close fought affair, the action out on circuit should be yet another classic example of slipstreaming and close battles as the drivers look to secure the maximum possible points heading into the second half of the racing season.
New for this race will be the series debut of recently unemployed Dan Lloyd, filling in for the newly retired Hugo Valente at the crack Lukoil Craft-Bamboo Racing SEAT team. Lloyd will be joined on the grid by another new face in the form of former WTCC and GT driver Grégoire Demoustier in the DG Sport Compétition Opel Astra, whilst former World Touring Car Champion and current Citroen WTCC driver Rob Huff again represents the World Championship in his TCR VW Golf.
Rounds nine and ten of the series also mark a welcome return of the Top Run Motorsports run Subaru WRX STI TCR. The car will be entrusted to the experienced hands of Luigi Ferrara as the team make a return to the series following an intense few months of testing and development with this fairly new package.
Other new faces on the grid for Austria will be multiple Serbian and FIA Central European Zone Touring Car champion Milovan Mikica Vesnić in his Audi RS3, Thomas Jäger behind the wheel of an Opel Astra and a first run out for the Italian Pit Lane Competizioni team fielding a sole Audi RS3 for Enrico Bettera.
Qualifying - Saturday June 10th - 13:55 BST / 12:55 GMT
