A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line. Stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.

Golden Rule
  1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • General video guide to multiclass racing - Click here
  • It is the responsibility of faster cars to safely overtake slower cars. When a faster car is overtaking a slower car (a car in a different class), whether a blue flag is being shown to the slower car or not, the slower car should be predictable and remain on the racing line. The faster car should execute the overtake only when it is safe to do so.
  • If a faster car is lapping another car in the same class, the normal gentleman's rule applies; some cooperation may be required to facilitate the overtake, usually a slight lift at the start of a straight. Please be sensible.

  • Separate qualification runs will happen for LMP1 and GT3 classes. First 12 minutes for LMP1, second 12 minutes for GT3. GT3 cars must not exit the pits before 12 minutes have elapsed. LMP1 must not start a lap after 12 minutes have elapsed. You may be kicked from the server by race control if you ignore this rule.

  • All other Racing Club Rules still apply to this event.

Drivers new to the club will not be permitted to take a prototype car. For any inexperienced drivers or those racing here for the first time it is recommended to take a GT3 car also. See you Sunday

Lets see, if my game let me switch sessions this time.
Not much time for practice this week, but will see how it goes.

That was a strange one. Maybe the track and grid size was the issue there. Le mans is quite tough on the computer. Fingers crossed.

Rasmus put me onto open hardware monitor. It runs all the time so you can llok back on temps etc. To see if there was a hardware issue with something like that.

Those are the selected. CPU Vcore, CPU Core #1 in MHz . CPU core#1 and package temp. CPU total load is the last one. The main parameters @RasmusP said to run on it.

My i9 9900K and 5700 XT are both water cooled with a custom loop. very Unlikely that this was a temp issue. I had some hick ups with CM already in the past, I might just change to a more recent CSP.

Yeah, if at all it would probably be an unstable voltage issue, but unlikely.
I finally updated from 0.1.60 to 0.1.78 and so far I didn't run into any issues. Seems like that one is fairly stable!
Only thing I can find about such issues would be "DXGI". Are you using "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling."?

Apart from that I have no clue.. But I'd guess that it has something to do with CSP... So maybe check what settings aren't at default in your config. Maybe one of them could make sense.

No DXGI, currently running 0.1.73 but might just go for 0.1.78

Cause the error only appears while switching sessions, it could also be related to AC´s netcode. Who knows. It is frustrating, but only happens like every 100th session or so.

Might try that update. I've had so many random errors the last 2 months. Like today, i couldn't join the practice server. Loaded another saved CSP settings preset and in it went, no problem.

It must be years since I drove GT3's in AC. I'm just testing the cars.
Can someone please PM me a lap time that I can use as a guide?
