F1 2012 Logitech Driving Force GT and F1 2012

I've just bought F1 2012 via steam and all is installed and fine.

However, my PC fails to recognise my wheel properly. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and have installed the latest Logitech Profiler software. It recognises my wheel as a Logitech DF EX model, incorrectly. When going to calibrate etc in game controllers it recognises my wheel and buttons but doesn't recognise my pedals at all for some reason?!

Anyone got any ideas as I wanna get on and play?!

This happened to me once. All i did was reinstall the drivers again. Once dfgt shows up in the control pannel it will be fine.

I'd already tried that, but typically after someone else tells me to do it it works!

I don't remember which way it worked, but you either have to
- plug in the wheel first and THEN install the driver
- install the driver and THEN plug in the wheel

The other way didn't work for me either

The installer asks you to plug in the wheel right after the proper installation.

What Endr said basically. The only time this happened with me the driver install did not ask me to plug my wheel in. The next time i tried it, it asked me and all was sorted.
