Logitech G27 Help please

I have a Logitech G27 Steering wheel kit with the 6 speed stick but can't work out how to assign neutral without actually setting it as a button.
Please help

I don't think I ever do assign neutral...it's just a result of shifting "out of gear". There may be an option in the same place called "Hold button to shift" (or something like that) and that will enable/disable shifting to neutral when you shift out of gear.

Make sure that "Direct Shifter" is ticked in one of the controller setup screens its the same as Shovas is describing, they are just different terms between GTR2 and GTL. In GTL it is Direct shifter.

I'd never noticed that direct shifter option before. I've only had the wheel kit a couple of days now, been using hand controller previously.

Moreover I suggest to use logitech GHUB software instead of older gaming software driver
