Hmmm, what is the benefit of reducing the spring, damper, centering sprint etc? I have run 100% on everything at 110% on the overall. full wheel weight, not trying to be inflammatory at all, just curious why we would want to turn feedback down?
Read this, interesting I think... http://www.racedepartment.com/content/1424-like-strong-force-feedback-think-again.html
Pretty much what I said then, but with graphs and stuff
Similar wave form distortion effect to when you are overdriving an audio amplifier and it clips / cuts /distorts the signal to a square wave (flat top) instead of a nice flowing sine wave.
I will concede to agree here, after reading this I lowered all settings yesterday and the feedback, while not nearly as strong is much more precise and conveys much more info
Logitech settings
Feedback 110%
Spring 0%
Damper 0%
Degrees of Rotation: 230 (matches the car's steering wheel rotation in-game)
Centering Spring: 0%
Allow game to adjust settings: OFF (even for other games leave this always OFF)
You can't change those settings in-game, the G27 comes with a profiler that allows you to change some settings before starting the game (and save them for later use as different profiles). Other settings like brake/gas pedal sensitivity and Force Feedback options can be changed in-game.
Good luck with your new wheel, it's really great!
