I have just bought the G290, I am not sure it is as good as stated; Anyway, does anyone know why the break pedal is so stiff. I have seen videos explaining to remove the block behind the pedal....Any solutions please,

G920 is the correct name.
If you remove the rubber block there will be a dead zone at the end.

Hi Russ, I had the G920 and found the rubber stop useless (far too hard) - so took it out, shaved it with a craft knife so it looked like a 'cone' - a huge imrovement with a hard pedal but progressive. Later went with the GTeye mod for all three pedals which was a massive improvement.

if you are comfortable with a simple mod, you could insert a 3-4k resistor in between the lower tab of the brake pot and the connector. This will adjust the resistance range of the pot enough to remove the deadline if you remove the rubber block. I went down the trimpot route, but I had taken my pedals out of the case so it was easy to adjust
