Looking to upgrade G27 setup.

I've had my G27 for a long time now, and think it is time to upgrade as I'm getting back into sim racing.

Heavily into ETS2/ATS with over 1500 hours all together.

I have a G27 with a real wheel using an adapter, G27 pedals and a TH8A shifter.

I'd say for each bit of kit, wheel, pedals, and shifter I'd spend £400 on a wheel/base, £200 for a shifter and £300 for pedals.

What would be best to do?

Have been looking at simracinghardware website especially their dashboards which connect around certain wheels, so the T500RS was in my sights. Would love one of those dashboards mainly for the buttons

Also interested in hooking up a speedometer and tachometer somehow. I can make a little "housing" for them if need be to attach them.

Thanks.

Is that direct drive JUST the drive for the wheel? Maybe I need to reconsider, getting a bit pricey.

Or push comes to shove, save up and go with Fanatec.

Other option I think is to grab a T500 RS, and buy the dashboard from simracinghardware. Would be a decent semi upgrade?

Yes, just the motor and controller.
Coming from a G29 and sim driving older cars,
wheel controls were unused;
running bare rims on direct drive, so far..

That is one of few cost-effective direct drive options
for multiple plug-and-play button box wheels; SIMAGIC is another.

Well quick update, went with a 2nd hand T300 RS and USB Handbrake on eBay. Not the T500RS I originally wanted, but I will grab the T LCM pedals next month, then I just need a seq/H shifter. Or both.

Will have a butchers at SIMAGIC cheers. I will be ordering that dashboard too that attaches to the T300RS base. Then I think I am done... ( for a while!)
