Just over a year ago I treated myself to a set of Fanatec V2 Pros.
Beautifully made and although I'm still nowhere near as fast on them as my old pedals they are really nice to use.
That was until about November last year. I have constant 80% throttle issues.
I clean the sensor and the magnet (the magnet is dirty as there's black on the tissue). The throttle is ok for about an hour and the problem returns. It's been like this for months now.
I'm seriously fed up. Sim racing should be fun but this is just ruining it for me. Especially as these pedals were an expensive purchase for me and took a few months to save up for. I wanted to replace my 10 year old wheel but at this rate I'll be having to get another brand of pedals instead.
I looked on other forums and I see this is a regular problem. The usual remedy is to unplug and replug the pedals. I did that but it doesn't work for me. Still at 80%.
I did take the entire throttle mechanism apart. Cleaned out the muck, and reassembled. Fine for about two hours this time and then 90% throttle, which then dropped to 80% again later on.
I'm just wondering if anyone on here has some suggestions but I think I'm going to get rid. Don't want to but I'm running out of patience. Having to take them apart and clean them when I feel like a race is a pain.
