Lowe to start work at Williams next month

Paddy Lowe is expected to start work at Williams at the start of March, according to Autosport.


The former Mercedes man has been on gardening leave since leaving the champions three weeks ago.

Lowe’s exact role is still unknown, though it’s likely he’ll fill Pat Symonds’ shoes. Symonds, chief technical officer at Williams last year, left the team last December. That means Lowe will become the most senior figure in the technical hierarchy, and it’s believed he’ll become a main board director, alongside Claire Williams, Mike O’Driscoll, and Nike Rose.

It’s expected Lowe will begin work on March 1st, providing there are no delays
