Lubricating Fanatec CSP V3 pedals?

ThatRacingGuy

I drove 88 MPH last night... weird stuff happened
Hello everyone.

I bought a set of V3 pedals earlier this month for a friend, when finally unpacking yesterday i found a tube of Lithium Grease packed with it. I'm guessing this is for the loadcell brake? but where do i apply it? I've has past experiences with taking things apart and it usually didn't up end so well :D This is a birthday gift and i'm just checking things out to see if everything works as intended without loosing parts. so i need some clarity.

Could anyone help me out?

Thanks.

The lithium grease is for the brake shaft. Simply put some on your finger and wipe it onto the silver rod that is semi-housed in the preload adjuster (the red thing with the numbers on it). As you use the brake pedal it will send the grease to the parts your finger cannot access (inside the preload).

You can do this whenever you feel your brake loosing smoothness, or every month or so if you wanted to keep it regularly lubed.
