I'm working on my track mod and constantly testing it with different cars. Today I bought DRM mod pack and tried to race, but game closed the race window and went back to main menu. This also has happened with TCR SEAT mod when trying to race. However, RACE SIM STUDIOs car pack is fine, 6 different cars, 29 opponents, no crash.
Also, no crash with DRM cars on different tracks.
Question for those who have been testing their tracks - could it be texture memory problem or physics? I say physics because many crashes happened right when cars ran into each other and caused mayhem, or at the start.
I will admit, in testing I use mostly .png because it takes time to convert through gimp after each change. But still, most cars work fine.
Track is on the large side, main geometry 800K+ polygons, takes 2:30 to get around in F1.
