A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

Go on Denis put me down for this. Which car though...my Porsche leaning makes this the obvious choice but is the Mazda easier to drive?

I like the Mazda, but I suggest you try em all. You'll wanna do a bit of practice for this, coz the Sauber has adjustable boost and the Mazda has mixture adjusment. You'll need to work out how much fuel will get you to the finish with what boost/mixture etc.
It's also worth pointing out, that in the tuning menu (bottom of screen in car selection screen) you can select default downforce and FFB strength. I'm using High DF and the lowest FFB strength (#1).
I may pop on the server for a few laps later tonight. :)

In please, thank you.

I was planning on waiting what Raceroom has in store for Thursday before making the final decision, but then I spend half an hour driving the Porsche around the track, and I don't think it matters anymore. This combo is insane :geek:
I agree, it's a nice combo. I'm loving the track and really looking forward to this one. :)

In please!
Brilliant, welcome mate. :)
I been doing some races with the AI cars at Riverside. The R600 seems to fit the track better than the R500. Here is my Porsche setup.

1.24.5 as best lap, using 3.5 litres of fuel per lap.
Thanks Damian. So, the glove has been thrown down. :D
As an Rd staff member, it is my duty to point out, that we do not encourage posting times on our event threads. However, it's always good to hear from the mod team. :notworthy:
I'm intrigued to see where we we end up, with regard to car choice for this event. Please, feel free to post your thoughts guys.

Sorry about posting the lap time, didn't know it's something not uses to do here. I won't race anyway I can't because races are too early for me.

However,I posted the lap time and fuel consumption to give an idea about race rhythm. I know there has been some noise about cars smoking because abose of boost. Some leagues don't allow cars smoking on track, however if the driver check the amount of fuel used when full boost is used, I think it won't be a problem for a long time.

About the track, is really well made, increible challenging to drive here, and is so fun.
