Notes: Set my best lap in Time Trial with wings on 6/5. Feels like my best setup in the game so far. Was robbed of a Q3 battle as the AI decided not to go out early (before the rain), so I got pole by over 12 seconds. At the race start, I fought Vettel in the first few corners and stayed in front.
Perhaps I saved too much Fuel in the saving program, as I was 3 laps under optimal at the start; despite putting in the maximum amount I was allowed. I had to stay in Lean for the first 12 laps and lift/coast through corners. Still doing good pace though. A few behind me pitted as early as lap 10 for new ultras. I ran two ultras til the rain came down. Switched to Inters and stayed well in front of everyone. Changed to wets and lost the lead to Ricciardo til he pitted.
I noticed a bug happen to 8 of the AI's. They kept pitting for new tyres (think they were switching between Inter/Wet constantly), so it was confusing to see the AI pit 17 times each by the end. There was a safety car with 15 laps to go, which brought Lewis' 40+ second gap down to 1. Saved a lot of fuel, so I stuck it in standard and drove away from Lewis and Seb after the restart. Was never under any pressure.
