Introduction

I started making tracks in November 2020 with RTB as I wanted a fast result.
By December I was so frustrated by the limitations of this app that I dumped it and started from scratch with BLENDER and AC-Editor - the hard way.
After some trials and many errors, I decided to go for a small “Learning Project” in June 2021.

The Marshland "Club" track , with reasonable dimensions so I hopefully wouldn´t get lost again.

I choose my backyard as location for the track...

Rev.0.91 Powerlines & tarmac brightness

I added some meshes to the models for the powerlines to make a better visibility in the distance.

It worked for me at anisotropic filter 16x without much flickering.
As there was some critics about the dark texturing - I did a night race for testing and felt it could be a little brighter with the headlights - so I raised the diffuse level to 0.2 .
Seems better in the night and still not too bright in the daylight.

Rev.0.92 Colliders

The colliders for the trees and the road signs were turned to the inside and could throw the car heavily around if you would hit a post or a tree.
Had to flip the normals.
And the windgenerator with the maintenance team is now standing still.

Final version I think

For quite some time I did not get in touch with my old track - but we had a little race a few days ago and discovered that the timing had some glitches.
I think I fixed that and while I was already working I updated the textures of the surroundings and added some airshow with hot air balloons and bi-planes to give the whole thing a bit of a "festival" character.
Dithmarschen Grand Prix

I hope I didn´t better things to the worse - as it is a fun little track.
