If you google "RFACTOR 2 MAS 2 CRASHES" you will find problem that sooner or later MAS2 will crash while packaging a mod or when you go to open it next time.
I am one that likes a lot of v1.0 rfmods that use all content, this is so old versions of content can never be deleted by workshop
I think the reason Mas2 craskes is the pkginfo files in roaming get too big when adding lots of rfmods as it gets slower and slower to work the more rfmods added then eventually failing to load or crashing
Easy workaround is use JSGME or OVGME and make mods that divide all rfmods to 2 to 4 maximum
So with mastemp folder and pkginfo files removed make your first 4 rfmods when finished cut the mastemp folder and pkginfo files into your JSGME / OVGME . Repeat with next 1 - 4 rfmods and so on
Now when it comes time to update mods enable the right mod, Open MAS2 and click edit , should come up with only the mods in that packet, uninstall the rfmod you want to update and new content click package
You must then cut and paste back the mastemp folder and pkginfo into the mod to update it .
With only 1 to 4 mods per entry mas 2 will never crash
The more cars and tracks you add to a rfmod the heavier it will work to open
Once you updated the mods disable them, there should be no mastemp or pkginfo files in roaming unless you updating rfmods
