McLaren: Tim Goss removed from chief technical officer position

Did wonder what was happening with this years car, maybe the Honda engine failures were down to McLaren and how the engine is connected? I was hoping for a better performance from the team as they said the chasis was good, that no longer seems to be true.

Yes, can't get my head around what they're up to. (Tbh, I almost stopped caring after Jenson left.)
A team of their calibre should not be under any illusions about how their power and aero package compares to others. So you would want to assume that this year's car is much worse than last year's, in relative terms... but why? Like I say, I can make no sense of it.
However, for work and other reasons (including VCR fails), I've missed every race this year - and am struggling to care.
