Merging tracks with 3Dsimed

I just bought 3DSimed today and am trying to stumble my way through it in hopes that I can fix a few little niggling problems with my tracks (cant find any tutorials on how to use it anywhere!) I could have sworn I saw in the forums somewhere that you could merge track segments together with 3DSimed. For Example, merge the pit lanes with the main track layout instead of them being separate and laying on top of each other. Is this possible? and if so could somebody give me a quick tutorial on how to do it and how to then save the changes and re-export the track? thanks!
