there was a show that passed on Discovery channel about something like that, i didn't had the chance to see it, but from tje presentation it looked something like that

That clip is from the second documentary first one was called mermaids: the body found and the second was mermaids: the New evidence. Both are very worth the watch even if some of it was fabricated for entertainment it still doesn't discount ancient legends of mermaids across multiple times, continents and civilizations.
