Who can tell interesting facts and stories of this Mid Night Club?

One fact I learned is that there are a lot of legends around it that, being passed on from person to person and blog to blog, extrapolated that club into unreal spheres. Like I once read about some "legendary Porsche" apparently running some "contemporary F1 Honda turbo" and producing over 1000 bhp and reaching 400 kmh on the Wangan... in the early 90s... even the wikipedia page details cars and "2 million $ builds" but this is all legends stuff and rumours with not much real basis
