minidump i think

im tring to play gtr evo and it loads up fine when ive selected my car and track it goes to the load up screen then as it goes thru the process it stops goes back to my desktop and shows this message c:\documents and settings\ben\my documents\simbin\race07\minidump\race_steam_1.2.1.2-20110324-111956-5668-6132.dmp'

dmp files which programs should open these, i think my kids have been playing around when opening programs.

please help

I have been getting a few mini dumps recently, mostly when selecting a custom skin to use.

Have had it occasionally in the same instance your getting it but usually a reboot of the game and it doesn't happen again, not a fix but I can live with them none the less.

Benson, that message is telling you that your game crashed and is showing you that the dump file was created. You are supposed to be able to send that file to someone so they can examine it and determine what caused the dump. As for the association, there is usually no associations set by default for the .dmp files.
