F1 2018 mirrors not visible in cockpit view

why are the mirrors by default not visible in cockpit view 1980*1024?
I have to adjust the field of view or horizontal offset, but that is not what I'm used to in the 2017, 2016... version, now I see a lot of leg and I'd like to see more steeringwheel, but than my mirrors are not in sight.

Having the correct FOV is FAR more important then seeing your mirrors. Do not adjust the FOV to fit the mirrors on the screen, or for any reason other than for your correct settings! It will only mess with your ability to judge speed and distance. With a 16:9 monitor you should NOT see the mirrors. I have 21:9, and I can't even see them.

Just take your measurements and use this website: https://dinex86.github.io/FOV-Calculator/ .... then never look back. Rely on the circuit map and arrow indicators, and keep asking the dev for a Virtual Mirror!

thanks for your repley. Bu then I still miss my back tyres, can't see any lock up with the mirrors out of view
