I haven't done anything with my wheel for 3 years due to many factors interfering, I have just got back into it and Im a little lost with the current state of affairs with the MMos situation.
I cobbled together a midge 130st VSD-E and Stm32 discovery board, it works ok but I am currently going through the settings to try and get it tuned up properly.
I am wondering if I should bite the bullet and upgrade to the Simucube and IONi? Its a lot of money to throw at it and Im unsure if it will be worth it if I can get the existing hardware going properly.
I have FFB ok, it gets all the bumps etc, and is strong enough, but I only have force on the wheel. When I turn there is no resistance coming back from the wheel, so I cannot feel oversteer or what is really happening from the car on the road.
Would an upgrade to the Simucube be a wise idea or would I still have spend hours reading and trying different configs for the Simucube as well?
