F1 2011 Mods for co-op

I'm doing a co-op championship with a friend and its getting a little boring with the AI, more accidents & DNF's would liven things up a bit.

Is it possible to mod a co-op or is it just single player? do we both need the mods or just the host? and finally any recommendations on which mods to get to bring it to life a bit.

I think any tweaks to the AI will not let you complete in multiplayer matches, wether the co-op career counts im not sure but i would think so.
