PC1 Monitor

Hello,

I just bought a Titan X GTX GPU for better performance, waw, big difference.
However i still have a rather old 24 inch monitor.
I cannot setup three monitors, but i could update to a curved 34 inch monitor like this one

Do you guys think a single GPU is enough for this screen?

Thanks

Piet
I'd say the Titan X GPU can handle that screen's resolution easily.

I seem to remember reading here that @William Wester has a GTX 970 or 980 and an ultrawide screen. He might be able to advise you.

Should drive that monitor just fine, I'm using a GTX980 with the LG 34UM95 (3440x1440).

This monitor is comparable to the cost of the triple screen . What prompted you to make this decision instead of a triple screen ?
Primarily because I like eye candy, my sims look soooooo good with the graphical settings at max (or very close) - GTX980. And night and weather racing takes even more GPU power, at triple screen resolution I just didn't like turning down the graphic options. The UltraWide also doesn't take up as much room (obviously). I use the extra room for monitoring - I use a 27" screen to the side of the UltraWide for either some type of monitoring software (pCARS Profiler, MSI Afterburner, EVGA PrecisonX, etc.) or other standard applications (browser, etc.), and a 10" Android tablet for DashMeterPro and a 8" iPad as an electronic button box using Roccat Power-Grid. Lots of "suff" to contend for desk/work space.
In addition, the 3440x1440 resolution works good for most everything else as my main monitor.
Its not a "replacement" for triples, but much better than an HD resolution monitor.
My $.01

How is game support for 21:9 ratio though? I've read a lot of games still don't support that ratio. That's the only thing holding me back for those ultra-wide monitors

I was also concerned as I had heard of some issues but I haven't run into any problems. DiRT Rally, rFactor 2, R3E, Project CARS, SCE, AC, and even Race07 ran fine from day one, no tweaking required. I did have problems running GTR2 and GTL but I hadn't run those in ages so I don't know if it's the new display or something else.

Single TX with triple is working similar to my old SLi 780Ti setup, so medium+car high ar.90-100 fps on 3xFHD. However i strongly advice looking for sth with higher res (less problems with AA) and g-sync - which is wonderfu, ZERO tearing and amazing flow on 144Hz.

Here is my first ride with triple 1440p powered by Titan X SLI.
