I sent an email. Hopefully they reply soon. I also asked about the glitch at turn 10 and 11 at Monaco where the cars smash into the wall and the race gets red flagged. I will tell you what they say when they respond

Quick question: I began a new career and after qualifying on pole position on the Albert Park on option tyres, I started the race on Prime tyres.

To sum up:

Q1: best lap on prime.
Q2: best lap on option tyres
Q3: best lap on option tyres
Race: started on prime and can't change it...

Is that normal or linked to this mod..?
Does anyone had this problem too?

I know that this is rediculously late and unlikely to elicit a response, but I was wondering how to edit these xml files. I beleive I already have a mod that has affected this file and as such don't want to overwrite the whole file, however I also want to just warm the tyres up. I have the ego editor and that is great for the .bin files but i cannot use it to open the .xmls, I would appreciate any help

The game should start you on Options as it takes the tyre type you used on Q3
