Mouse and binding keys for the game

Hey guys, I'm trying to bind new keys to my wheel and keyboard in gtr2 and evo and having trouble. The game is recognizing ONLY the mouse key when I click on the command that I want to map. I'll click on it and it immediately maps to the mouse instead of asking me which key or button to map it to. I've tried 2 different mice both of which are wireless but never had a problem until now.... only change is that I just reinstalled gtr2 to the computer.

Any thoughts? Thanks for any help you might be able to lend.

Problem fixed. Reset mouse and all is well.
