Multi-class racing only?

Hi,
Just got this game last week and loving it so far. However, I just did a Formula 3 race and was put on the track with other cars from different classes - Formula Retro, Formula Reiza etc. How do I race only against cars of my class? I couldn't find an option.

Why do I get mixed classes when attempting to run a race for the first time?

On your initial run with a fresh player profile (.PLR), this might happen. Go back to the menu, select another series, and it should sort itself out.
