PC2 Multiple liveries for one car

Hi people,
I bought project cars 2 a while ago but never really got into it. I want to give it another try. In AC you can just put skin files in the car's folder and done. Can I do that in PC2? If I put a downloaded dds file in the "vehilce/textures/customLiveries" folder it always want to replace the old file. So is there only one additional livery possible at a time? But even if I put just one in, in my case a livery for the Sauber C9, it wont show in the livery selection screen.
Any advice or solution?

As far as I know, you can only use 1 custom skin for each car in that folder. The preview is just a small picture of the car in white. You can't change it (it's inside a bigger file). But if you select it, it will use whatever custom skin you added/replaced.
