Name change in GTR-Evo?

Hello,

I'm interested in joining the RD club and understand I need my real name in GTR-Evo. Is there a way to change the current name I use to my real name with GTR-Evo w/out creating a whole new account?

Hi,

Making new profile is not that much hurting, all your car setups will be still visible, since they are non profile related, yeah, the game settings needs to be adjusted if you deferred from default... or you can try to change the ingame name in the .plr file, but this way i never tried yet, maybe also the file name needs to be changed, and folder name too, cant say.

No you don't need to do anything with your Steam account.
Just need to change your in-game profile. You could do this by simply creating a new profile with your real name, if you want to keep the old one for say public servers, but you will need to re enter new settings for your controller, graphics etc.

Or you can rename your current profile and retain all of your records. Details about renaming it are covered by this post:
