Name/number plate on windscreen

I wonder why my name/number plate in the windscreen dosen't say *OST* (Ostermann) and it say *SIM* instead !? No matter what I write of names, it just write *SIM*

Any ideas why it does that !?

Its not the nickname it uses. Go to customize where you can choose the suit & helmet colour the 3 letter abbreviation is there

Maybe I am missing something, but this only works in SP, right?
In MP I still get the standard abbreviation stemming from my last name.
