Need to move entire game to another HDD

So as the title says i want to move the entire game with all the mods (iam using CM) to another hdd drive, for space reasons. Is it safe to use the steam provided option "move install folder" or it will create conflicts? Thanks in advance

I've used the steam move folder option with mods (CM, CSP, Sol, cars, tracks etc) a few times and it's never caused an issue.

Its fine, I've transferred HDDs and reinstalled windows in the same process and everything picked off like it did. The configuration files are usually in your local temp folder anyway which wont get moved.
