DiRT Rally new game in the pipeline

the recent developer's blog has been full of "hints" about something exciting and new not far away. we all know where this will end: dirt rally02 or a proper rally x game covering the full fia season. what do you guess it will be?

I know they were talking last year about wanting to rebuild their game engine for deformable surfaces and larger sized environments. That leans more towards proper rally than rallycross.

I suspect that rallycross will remain a sidenote in both rally and circuit sims (iRacing/pCARS 2) because I don't see it selling as well as proper rally, but I could easily be wrong here.
