Hi guys!... I desperately need someone's help. ..I , unfortunately am a one arm, one foot driver. I have only just gotten back into sim racing after years of not being able to due to divorce , financial situation etc etc... long, boring story. I, unfortunately had a terrible crash back in 2001, yes, I am THAT old...shhhh. I was a stunt rider, doing a show, when someone got in my path... lost a leg above the knee (I didn't really lose it, it wasn't under a bed or behind a cupboard... I know exactly where it went). I also have a paralysed left arm. I was fine when I had a wheel... an old Logitech G25 when it first came out. All I had to do was program a downshift button an clutch button on the right side of the wheel. Problem is I live in South Africa and the standard of living has gotten worse, especially for people with "alternative abilities. All I have access to is a Thrustmaster joystick to use. Now I have to emulate an xbox controller. Problem is, I need to bind the throttle and brakes to buttons.
Is there a way I can add a few lines somewhere or a script to have the throttle "feed" In at a scalable rate? Obviously what is happening is I am braking traction everywhere because a button works like an on off switch. I usually "feather" the throttle and brakes coming out of a turn or to avoid collision but this way just doesn't work.
I am obviously saving every penny to buy another wheel eventually. I absolutely LOVE this game and would love to make videos of my driving abilities and perhaps inspire some people in a similar situation to get into the best thing you can do without using your little head. I still ride (a Can-Am Spyder) and drive at track days when I can at Killarney International Circuit, in Cape Town, South Africa (which incidentally is available to drive right here in the Assetto Corsa Track section).
I really hope someone can help me out with this bothersome issue. Otherwise I will just wait until I can get a wheel to enjoy the game with. Thanks for hearing me out wonderful people of Race Department. You guys are very very talented and supportive folk.

(p.s. If someone feels like donating an old wheel and pedal, I certainly wouldn't complain, hahaha)
