Also if they could make the FOV options more accurate. One of the main reasons I don't play r3e all that much is that I can't get the FOV low enough to match my correct one. If they could atleast make the fov multiplier go down to something like 0.3x, aswell as make the steps half the length would be enough to make me happy.

There is a way to do it. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game\GameData\Cars". Here there is a folder for every car. Inside each folder there is a file called "cockpit_driver_view".

Into this file is the FOV value. You have to modify this file changing the FOV value. Default value is 58, try with 30 or similar (i use this value).

Modify this file for each car you want to drive.

Regards.

Happy new year indeed!

I really love this sim and looks like really good things on the horizon. I hope they introduce some oval tracks for the Indycars and speedway and race course aero settings. Also please have a look at GT4 when you have the GT3 group up to date.

Please tho can we get the server errors sorted first before anymore releases so we can all enjoy this good game,it has been revealed to me from a message from their customer support that it is indeed a problem their end to do with ipv4 and ipv6 and how some have incompatibility with some isp.Personally not been able to play this game for about a month now.Let's get our priorities right please sector 3 as apart from this I think your in a winner with this game as its rather good :).

Want that Volvo, Indy Car too if it's any decent. Love R3E but so far I've not loved their open wheelers quite as much as their other content. Still, 2017 is gonna be a heck of a year for sim racing.

'a Formula One style race car"... another fantasy car, wow so amazing... not.

....it's called licencing my friend. If they call it an F1 car they'd have to remove it. So why go to the trouble of spending a small fortune getting permission from the FIA? If it's close enough to being an F1 car (without calling it that) that's good enough for me :) The formula extreme in AMS is the same idea. The Sector3 version looks quite pretty too (so it can't be F1!:roflmao:)

I would imagine Sector3 are probably treading on eggshells slightly with this one, if it even remotely looks like an F1 car colour scheme the FIA will probably get them to remove it. The screenshot is nice though

Looking forward to 2017 with this game, looks awesome :)

lol keep fooling yourself ! it's not an exsisting model so yeah it's fantasy ! I don't see the point of a fantasy car...
