New RSS 2023 Hybrid - No Sparks

I got the new RSS 2023 this year after running the 22 VRC last year. I like it, but I'm not seeing any sparks at all which isn't very realistic. Any idea why? I didn't realize the sparks fx were tied to cars.

Or am I missing something?
