New UI update, Feb. 7. 2020

The version number did not change, but the build numbers did. S397 has released it's first update of the new UI system and provided some information at what comes next.

Not a fan of the new UI , sticking with the original for now.

Also sticking with old UI, as I can navigate it faster and it does not burn my eyes with white backgrounds

The dark version thing only became a meme in 2019, it'll take a few more years until we get that to rF2.

Over the weekend, I finally got me the full version of rF2, and the UI looks just the same as it did in the demo I tried few months back.
What do I have to do to get the new UI?

Thx for any help, I'm still kinda new to rF2, and trying to figure stuff out...

In the steam,library, before you launch rF2, right click on the rF2, and choose Properties. Then the beta tab. Then choose the Public Beta. It may take several restarts for the thing to load up the first time. And when you do run it, you will be given two options, to play rF2, or run the config tool. ALWAYS choose the tool first and verify it lists your video card and screen size and refresh rate. Then it will cycle back to the Play button again and you can choose play rF2 then.
