My that's a big one from the boys at Reiza, once again showing their work ethic. And Rio Hondo brings back memories from the 2013 WTCC, Race 07 has a mod but it's pretty sparse. It should be fun with the V8's round there.:)

There are some of the long-awaited fixes included in this one:
  • Fixes the slippery astroturf
  • Improves ABS that was never activating below 9-10
  • Super V8 should be more stable
  • BMW M4 drives less weird
  • Ginetta GT4 is no longer op within the class
  • Fixes AI not taking enough fuel and doing excessive numbers of pit stops
  • Improved AI ability to overtake each other
  • Fixes the sound reflections off walls sounding weird and choppy
  • Fixes the dirty windshield on the Mercedes E190
I don't have time to test everything now, but if these have all indeed been fixed that would be great.

My god! The 1983 F1s are so much better. I just did a few laps around the super fast Buenos Aires #12 layout in the McLaren and the NA car and they are really drivable, with grip that they were lacking inthe previous versions. You can now lean on these cars, where before they were a bit of a lottery in the handling. Yay!

I do not see this update? Is it beta only, perhaps?
It's a release candidate, so, to copy and paste what the thread on the Reiza forums says:
AMS2 users can now select the latest release candidate, currently V1.3.8.0 build 2043 - to access this build, right-click Automobilista 2 on your Steam Library, go into Properties -> Beta tab, and select the “ReleaseCandidate” branch for the dropdown menu.

3.8 coming out at the end of this week with more big physics updates, but
update 1.4 coming out at the end of july will be a milestone, so they say!

Great news. The simulation is getting closer and closer to AMS 1, which is
fantastic. Can't wait for release 1.4!

It's out already, no need to sign for beta.

Interesting, when I went to bed last night I received the beta build via steam, and just now it updated to release candidate.....

So just turned some laps at the new tracks and they are so fun. Its like we got a free track pack. The only issue I had was on Termas where it seemed if you touched the curb at all on two different turns it would invalidate the lap. All of the cars feel so real you can tell exactly where the edge of grip is and the cars that I drove GT3 AMG, Opala 84, Group C and Group A were all just so freaking awesome. They all act just like you think they should with Group C being a super car that dares you push through a turn an the Opala being on the other end that you cant treat like a modern race car. With the 84 you can feel just how the higher ride height and softer springs with the cars mass all come together to give you that driving an 80s old peoples car around a track on the limit. Great job Reiza.
