No car sounds after Windows 10 upgrade

Update: Fresh Steam install solved it. Previously had just copied my Win7 SteamLibrary over and let Steam find it.

Recently upgraded to Windows 10, just back to AC now, and I have no sound in the car?

I have menu sounds when I click

I'm using default windows drivers for audio. I tried installing proper drivers from the motherboard but they won't seem to take. I think they're just too old.

Did you fixed it? I guess when you have menu sound you should have engine sounds etc. ingame.
Did you just upgraded your windows 7(no fresh install) and using your old AC installation or fresh windows and fresh download of AC?

Which mainboard do you have? Realtek Onboad Sound probably?

Yes, I got it fixed, updated the OP. Needed a fresh install instead of the old Win7 SteamLibrary copy.
