PS4 No Driving Force Shifter support?

Edit 2: One drift car that can actually use the shifter instead of the paddles? I really don't want broken fingers.

There should be a way to force the shifter, maybe @Chris Stacey knows.

You can force paddles on an H pattern car by unplugging the shifter, but there is no way (outside of breaking open encryped files and altering physics data) to use an H pattern on semi auto cars.
