No opponent car sounds

doing a race against the Ai today in the alpha 155 I noticed I could only hear my own car noises, none of the Ai cars seemed to have any engine sounds etc, also noticed the other day the same car seemed to missing some collision sounds when hitting barriers on nord. This is on a clean install with no mods at all, spotted someone else mention they had no opponent sounds in a dtm club race on nord also, any way to fix this?

same here, some online races have sounds from other cars, but there is something that triggers the bug. Could be related when clicking on the names of other drivers/trying to see them drive. Then when you return you only hear your car sounds in the race, though you can hear the sounds just from their cam.
