Norisring 2009 v3.0 - DTM street circuit in Nürnberg, Germany

This track was made by com8 (Alex Hummler) for rFactor in 2011.
The Assetto Corsa conversion was done by SandroX.
The enhancement of the AC version was made by Rainmaker
and now I have optimised it to bring this forgotten track back to the community.
Thank you to Com8, SandroX and Rainmaler who all gave me their permissions for the overhaul of this Norisring conversion.
Also a big thanks to AlleyViper who help me a lot...

@The Zman for a quick fix just open assettocorsa\content\tracks\norisring\ui\ui_track.json and delete the "," after "DTM". Or directly replace it with this file until there's a hotfix for this issue. This should only affect the vanilla launcher.

Edit: You can ignore this post, just download >v3.01 which has since been fixed.

some fixes

I did some update mainly on the car shadow and road mesh issues and some other things.
vao is updated on GitHub and can be downloaded via CM later this day.
  • fixed road mesh, road lines and grove/skid textures (causing car shadow issues)
  • collision walls update
  • some more mesh and LOD fixes
  • new TV cams (Set 1)

The start/finish line is pretty dark at night. Any possibility of adding a light or two in this area for night races? Also, do you plan to add the digital flags and the starting lights? It looks like there are locations for them already on the track. Not sure how hard/easy this is.

Anyway, love the track and the details like the TV screen. Very cool.

You're right. It's a bit dark. I can redo the night lighting.
Digital flags and starting lights should work. Make sure your CM has downloaded the track config.
Should be "config for Norisring 3.0" version: 456
