I'm a bit late to the party having just stumbled on this fix for one very annoying glitch in this amazing rally game. Thanks so much! Now I can enjoy the amazing graphics whilst in cockpit view. Excellent!!! :)

Really hoping this mod will be updated for WRC9 as I'm not enjoying the dull windscreen graphics again :(

Cheers :)

First also a bit late... thank you, good to read that
the wrc 8 normalize brightness mod improves the
game for you. I have been a bit lacks with regard to
the mod on racedepartment, I actually updated it on
the nexus see update 1.1 will be updating here soon
as well.

I haven't come around to wrc 9 just yet, I am certainly
planning to, currently working on project cars 3 which
bye the bye has the same issues with the cockpit as wrc 8
and apparently wrc 9 that glary over bright cockpit but
as soon as I have time I will see what can be done.

Anyway hope you can still distill some joy from wrc 9
it does seem to have some nice new tracks, japan, africa, etc.

Edit I don't know what is wrong with links in postings on this forum
so the update is on nexus mods under wrc8/mods/2?tab=files
