Not as good looking or as fluid (compared to youtube footage)

GTX 1070, Ryzen 1600 at 3.8Ghz, 16GB, Game on SSD:

- The game is locked to 60fps, but sometimes goes just a notch lower, 59.9...59.4...
- Even when the games runs in 60 fps on my 60 gps screen, it does not feel....well, fluid.
- When looking at other 60fps footage on for example youtube, it looks much, much, much more fluid.
- Sol 1.5 + latest CSP installed. (the right way). Do not see a very big difference som vanillla PP's ! (well, nice sunsets etc)
- Textures popping out on while driving: trees, mountains etc. Seems always more fluid after fresh install (then popping occurs)
- Inside of cars, as well as exterior parts seem to pop out too when looked at in replays.

I have had my fights with AC already (dont ask), so Im a bit tired of the game - since I get a feeling that Im missing someting, especially when I look at youtube etc. My game is NOT looking lake that (or behaving).

Any ideas what to try? Are my hardware ok? =P

Distant objects popping would be a bug with CSP, vanilla AC has very conservative distances for hiding LODs (10km or something by default, only closer if the track author sets it manually per object) and that's among CSP's optimizations, hiding stuff too far away to see.

The cars having parts popping completely out of existence is a CSP bug, I believe it was pinned down to caused by the "multiplier for car LODs" feature being massively broken in certain camera/fov settings.

First thing to try is disable every CSP option you think is not worth the introduction of bugs. Just do it at the full section level, eg. click Brake Disc FX and uncheck 'Active' if you don't plan to visually inspect your brake discs for wear. The fewer sections you have active the more sure you can be that AC's actually having a problem and it's not just a bug with CSP.

CSP in general is either an alpha state (fully untested) or beta (limited testing), there is no stable version with effort put into bug removal. So you just kinda live with bugs.

Thank you. Will recommended CSP always have less bugs than newer releases? The thing is, when things are working as they SHOULD, then there is a fluid update of mountains, trees etc, lite low opacity turned into 100% and not popping (or hadly any poppping occurs), but on som tracks (original) there still is popping, and sometimes there is suddenly popping where it have been these fluid transitions. So weird...

Any knows problems with SOL 1.5 + A3PP ? =P
