Number 1 Driver?

Has anyone taken a number one driver position with any of their teams yet?

Basically i am with Force India at the moment and am considering staying on with them for an extra season to see what perks come with being number one driver.

So really all i want to know is it worthwhile staying on as number one driver and what are the pros and cons of being a number one driver or is it worth my while?

1 pro is that as the #1 driver you get to decide the R&D path once a season.

but what does that involve?

is it that i only get to pick upgrades or what?

basically you can pick between a few upgrades a season, steady amount of updgrades a season and finally an upgrade at nearly every race. That is all, not worth sticking with a lower team just to be No.1 IMO.
