Number of all users in AC

I would like to know how to find out how many different users owns Assetto Corsa?
In this steamspy app says 634.000 users, while the official ac forum has 175.000 members. Which one to believe?

What do you mean by different users? Every user is different I'd say

and yea there you have it... only a small percentage of the Steam PC owners bother to go to a forum.

Steam numbers should be accurate.. if you wanna know the sale numbers on the PC platform.

Looking at the same names always showing up, I would guess more than 80% of what is exchange in the official forum is a group of no more than 50 people. That is what is perceived as a community when in fact it is just a small cluster of forumites. Myself included LOL.
