As a scale modeler with tons of ideas for cool decals and dioramas, I am always curious about licensing and trademark. I found this article while doing a little research.
Could one extrapolate from the conclusions of this article that a German citizen or German-based company can use vehicle designs and logos from around the world for miniatures and 3D sim models without legal ramifications?
If so, what would prevent an individual or company based outside of Germany contracting with a German firm to produce trademarked material without a license?
