I keep reading about activation & activation codes on here.

I didn't need to enter any codes anywhere when I installed my copy.

So my question is, please - Are the codes for download purchased games only, or have I still got something to do before I can go online or whatever? I've got a dvd copy.

Any clarification anyone can supply will be hugely appreciated, as I'm really enjoying rF so far, esp. the Lupos and the Beetles, and I don't want to miss out if I can help it.

I don't think you need to activate the DVD version.. At least, it doesn't sound like it if you're already playing it!

My downloaded version required activation - I think that's probably because it's a time-limited demo too, so it needs it in order to play the full game.

yea, dvd version is play straight from install... the activation codes are for the downloads...
