On Screen Map and Laptimer

Hey guys, new to the game, just setting up all the setting and cant see to get the onscreen map or the lap timer on the top right hand side of the screen to show up?? is this a ingame setting? or a mod that i need (like removing the helmet).. ?

You can cycle through your HUD view by pressing '2' by default I think. You can toggle the track map by pressing 'G' by deafult I think.
