Opinion on track design

Hi all,

Have designed a fictional track - intended to be a long-ish endurance circuit / test circuit for sports and race cars - but I'm not sure if it's TOO long.... wanted an opinion as a sort of sanity check from you guys...!

It's 14km, 38 turns. An average laptime in a Le Mans P1 car is approx 4 minutes, which is about 130mph average speed.

Is this too long? I might shorten it, but it seems to have a great flow all the way through. Are there any real life circuits like this, other than the Ring? What would you think to a long lap?

That track design guide nicely includes a formula for the maximum number of cars (pg 11 in Appendix O). Going through the calculations, a small, narrowish, circuit like Streets of Willow Springs can run a 24 hr race with a maximum of about 55 historic cars (e.g. street cars and other slow slugs), which coincides with my impressions of the circuit from racing 20-25 cars on it.
